Zone 9 takes teams through one of Europe’s most celebrated urban regeneration projects — the transformation of the King’s Cross industrial lands into a vibrant, world-class neighbourhood.
Teams navigate between stunning canalside public spaces, beautifully restored Victorian buildings, and two of London’s greatest railway terminals.
Your teams will navigate a route taking in:
- Granary Square — one of London’s most dramatic public spaces, with its choreographed fountains and stunning Regent’s Canal setting
- Regent’s Canal — the historic waterway cutting through the heart of King’s Cross, now flanked by restaurants, galleries, and studios
- Coal Drops Yard — the beautifully restored Victorian coal storage buildings, now home to independent shops and restaurants
- St Pancras International — one of the world’s great railway stations, with its magnificent Gothic Revival architecture and famous champagne bar
- King’s Cross Station — the iconic Victorian terminus, transformed with its stunning new western concourse
- The British Library — the UK’s national library, a striking modern building housing over 170 million items
